Welcome to John Boy Farms!

John Boy Farms is a small farm located in the fertile Red River Valley of southern Manitoba, 15 minutes from Winnipeg. We grow a wide variety of fresh vegetables that are offered to customers from the beginning of June to the end of October. We also sell fresh pressed Manitoba Apple Cider from fall until spring. Our government inspected apple cider press is currently located in Landmark (called Apple Junction). If you have an apple tree, we offer custom apple pressing where you can have juice made from your own apples!  

Jean-Guy (John) and his wife Ainsley are the 5th generation owners of this family farm and have worked hard over the past several years to transition the operation from traditional grain to a small scale sustainable vegetable farm that strives to produce fresh, local and delicious foods free of chemicals. Vegetables are sold through on farm pick-ups and the local St. Norbert Farmers' Market in Winnipeg.
