All Cover Crops & Green Manure

Cover crops, also known as green manure, are plants grown primarily to benefit the soil rather than for harvest. They are sown to cover and protect the soil during periods when it might otherwise be left bare or to improve soil health specifically.

Cover crops offer many benefits, including feed for livestock and wildlife, increased fertility, higher organic matter, improved soil structure and drainage, weed suppression, erosion protection, and pest reduction.
